RNASA Awards in Houston

Our first stop in Houston was the Johnson Space Center Underwater Training Center
This pool is 50 feet deep and 220 feet long 120 feet wide.
Each Astronaut spends 9 hours a day training.
They will train 17-19 hours underwater for every 1 hour of space walk.

Our next stop was the above ground mock training center. International Space Station. Astronauts live on the ISS for 6 months.

Look close and you can see a 6 foot tall Astronaut.

As a matter of fact we were not even born.
Awards Dinner was Friday Night. This dinner was just like the Emmy's.
It was a black tie dinner. It was fun to get all dressed up and spend the night with my
very smart and talented husband. I am so proud of what he has done so early in his career.

Maren Anderson, Jason, and Fred Perkins Fred Nominated Jason for the 2010 Stellar Award for Early Career.
Maren was also nominated for the Middle Career.
